The park is dog-friendly, and there are fenced off-leash dog areas nearby. Additionally, the park offers BBQ spots, new toilets, drinking water, and river views. Visitors have praised the park for being a great spot for families, with its modern, enclosed playground and various play areas. However, it is important to note that some of the equipment may become hot in the sun, so make sure to apply sunscreen and be cautious when using the facilities. Cahill Park is also conveniently located near grocery stores, making it easy to stock up on snacks for a day at the park.
